Clementine Blonde is Austmann’s Christmas twist on our famous Hoppy Blonde. We are known for our Belgian styles (Hoppy Blonde, Tre Gamle Damer and Utpå in particular) and our expertise in handling our favourite Ardennes yeast has done us proud once again! Produced in our brand new brewhouse in Sluppen, Trondheim; we are proud to bring this limited edition Christmas beer to Gulating customers. We have infused a zesty twist of clementine and altered the hop profile from the classic Citra to better accommodate the fruit addition. Marrying extremely well with dark chocolate, why not try goats cheese or almonds as a more exotic pairing? Austmann blondes are crisper and more minerally when drunk at lower temperatures…ideal on a hot summer’s day. You will find as your Clementine Blonde warms up the floral notes from the yeast and the complex clementine bouquet will open up; producing a fuller, richer drinking experience. We therefore advise a 9-10 degrees Celsius serving temperature in a tulip glass to really invigorate the aromas and concentrate them in the glass. God Jul from Austmann!
