The deep ebony colour and a roasty aroma with notes of wood and chocolate in balance with the sweetness from the malt are the crucial points of our Weihenstephaner Stout. Hallertauer Magnum, Hallertauer Mittelfrüh and Delta hops in combination with a variety of different roasted malts, a top-fermenting ale yeast and our local Freising water as well as the technical skills of our brewers result in a Bavarian Stout of 5.6% with a thick chestnut-coloured head and a bold finish.
