The nose is fresh with sweet orange and clementine sitting on a backdrop of juicy stonefruits with a hint of raspberry. The mouthfeel is nice and round a produces a highly drinkable beer with flavours of gummy bears, orange, peach, physalis. The aftertaste is medium with a hint of refreshing red currant and green tea. Inspired by my trip to California over Christmas, trying beers all up and down the coast. This beer has bitterness and dankness of the dry IPAs and pales from San Diego, the forward thinking dry hopping and oats of the new school Los Angeles Breweries and the sessionability and hop character I found in the San Fransisco breweries.
