The specialty grains in this American Mild Ale create a lovely light brown to amber shade with caramel and malty notes greeting the nose. Through the off-white tight head, the Azacca, Citra, and Simcoe hops impart tropical, resinous and dank hop aromas. The first sip starts rich and smooth across the palate as the specialty malts give flavors of sweet raisin, biscuit, hints of tobacco, and dried fruit notes along with the hops playing in a fresh tropicality with piney and herbal notes. The sip draws to a clean, satisfying finish with elegant balance between the hops and malt against the medium-full body.
