Fresh barley and tiny bit of wheat, Talus and Chinook hops in reserved amounts, our house yeast. James and Adam, of Verdant, wanted to make something like a classic Cornish Pale Ale. We went for a soft, Cornish water style, 3% wheat malt, a sensible amount of Talus and Chinook, and a drier finishing density. The bitterness is fruit-like but certainly there. Soft, bitter, refreshing, pink grapefruit, floral and soft carbonation.
