Пиво Paradigm Shift - Cerebral Brewing

Our newest IPA Paradigm Shift is the first beer our brewer Caroline created at Cerebral! We’re loving this new hoppy creation, and wanted to share the story behind the beer. For her recipe, Caroline wanted to try something outside of the box for our normal IPAs and used a lighter base malt, as well as flaked oats and wheat to create a beer with a lighter lemonade-like color and crisper mouthfeel. This modest malt bill allowed the combination of tropical New Zealand Wai-iti hops, strawberry-sweet Strata, and citrusy/floral Idaho 7 hops to shine. Upon hearing the term in a book on climate change, Caroline was inspired to name her beer Paradigm Shift, which is coincidentally the perfect descriptor for her contributions to our company. Caroline is our first female brewer, a vital member of our small (yet mightily important) DEI committee, and she has implemented several new initiatives to make our brewing operations more sustainable at Cerebral. The skills and passions she's brought to our team have shifted our perspective, and reinforced our values even more.
