Our first mixed fermentation ale. Brewed in August 2018, this beer has spent ten months in red wine barrels with different mixed cultures bringing acidity and Brettanomyces complexity to the beer. It was then primed with elderflower syrup, made on site from locally foraged elderflowers. Blend 1 is tart, funky and quenching with flavours of lemon rind, hay and elderflower.
