#66 is a single barrel example of DDBA, aged in American toasted oak for four years. Single barrel offerings will each have their own unique character, like a thumbprint; no two are alike. The dominant caramel/toffee malt flavors in this beer are backed by a firm oak foundation. Sweet malt character with toasted oak nuttiness, vanilla and hints of dried stone fruit dance with a boozy character that emanate from the long maturation process on oak and the high alcohol.
