A beer produced and aged in brandy barrels back in 2007 and only a few rare barrels survive today. Saucer is a Quadruple of the Belgian variety, utilizing both Belgian yeast and dark candy sugar, then aged gracefully in Brandy barrel for 6 years. Pleasant brandy and spirit notes, coconut and vanilla, along with hints of Sherry and Madera. Lots of dried fruit: fig, dates, raisins, chocolate, with a hint of orange zest, silky on the palate.
