Brewed at the Propagator.The second in our series of collaborative beers with homebrew clubs from around California, this Bavarian-style wheat beer is full-bodied and malt-forward. A classic top-fermenting yeast strain from Bavaria gives the beer a spicy aroma of cloves and caramelized banana, while toasted and roasted German malts provide a rich aroma and flavor of freshly baked rustic bread. The finish is lightly sweet, with just a touch of bitterness from German noble hop varieties, Hallertauer Tradition and Tettnanger.
