Carver is now 100% local (well, everything but a touch of hops)...split between N.C. sweet potatoes (40%) and N.C. barley (60%). This subtle, slightly earthy lager remains and always will be our tribute to Southern inventor Dr. George Washington Carver, who, yes, was known for peanuts, but was equally passionate about sweet potatoes. Brewed with 400 pounds of sweet potatoes per batch (and zero ounces of pie spice), this quietly confident lager celebrates the subtle flavor of North Carolina’s most prized crop -- and its biggest champion.
