To celebrate North Carolina Beer Month, Fullsteam and Mother Earth collaborated on a springtime hoppy wheat beer brewed with North Carolina wheat and pungent Belma hops from Puterbaugh Farms (Washington State). Fullsteam's step-mash version uses unmalted NC wheat, resulting in a 5.3% ABV American Pale Ale (the APA in Snapa), while Mother Earth's single-mash process with malted NC wheat is more of an IPA (hence, WhIPA). Look for both beers to have a grapefruit and tropical fruit aroma, with a crisp, clean finish.
