We brewed this Sour Ale with the intention of maximizing fruit character in a sessionable sour format. Swirl starts as a carefully balanced kettle-sour base fermented with our house ale yeast, then transferred onto ~30% by volume of strawberry and mango puree. The beer underwent a light refermentation and then received a generous dose of dehydrated strawberry powder to amplify that lovely strawberry tang. Swirl is a straight delivery of fruit to your face, and boasts a thick, but even drinkability with balanced sweetness and acidity. We’re really happy with this one and hope you love it as much as we do.
