In the first iteration of the "Who Asked for This?" series, this Black IPA represents a beer that a couple of brewers have been talking about for a looooong time. It finally came to life on the golf course, when a deal was brokered a deal on the 18th green to brew this old school take on a West Coast IPA. Quite literally no one asked for this beer, but the Bogey Boyz sought to make it a reality. Roast and Rye malts offer a unique balance to the hop bitterness that comes through in aroma. Hopped with HBC586 and Simcoe. Enjoy a pint while it's here, because there is no chance it's getting brewed again.
