A little while back, a few of us Geese took a trip up to Alarmist to try the most overrated Hazy IPA in Chicago. We started pontificating the finer points of the brewing industry and then someone brought back a 30 rack of High Life and a collaboration was born. The best collabs use knowledge and ingredients from both sides. Alarmist brought their wealth of Haze knowledge as well as Citra and Mosaic hops and Goose brought Meridian and Southern Passion hops along with the literal juice of the Viognier (“Vee-own-yay”) white wine grape. First its the Tropical fruit aromas and a beautiful 14k gold color, then its Jus Jus Jus, and finally a hint of white grape sweetness balanced by a slight lingering bitterness.
