This collaboration with The Hanging Bat is based on a traditional Flanders Red aged in a red wine demi barrique. The contents of this barrel were perpetually blended to create an exceptionally complex beer, as it is a mixture of three-, two- and one-year old beers fermented with a wide variety of microbes, including spontaneous cultures and sherry flor. This batch was refermented in steel with Scottish Tayberries (400g/l), grown within 20 miles of the Holy Goat Brewery in Dundee. Drink young or age, this will get weirder. Hail the Bat
