“Oh, my Perkele!”, a Finn would exclaim having tasted this stout. This is sick dense beverage with bourbon and oak notes in odor and lightly in the taste. Oak chip produced in Jack Daniel’s barrels gave the stout oak notes, and Four Roses bourbon brought red apple accented wood notes and unusual light odor of an ashtray with ash. Special bitterness of coffee malt will give many beergeeks a buzz. “Perkele”, that in Finnish means “damn”, accompanied by some fruity swear word will warm you with its herb hellfire.
