Raw cocoa with some medium roasted coffee in the aroma, accompanied by sweeter caramely notes. The taste follows the aroma with some dark chocolate, and roasted bread flavors, all sweetened by the addition of lactose which defines this milk stout. The lactose also contributes to a fuller mouthfeel and silky texture, and enhances the caramel maltiness in the finish. The aftertaste that follows is that of pleasant roasty bitterness.
