We paired our highest rated beer so far, Blackcurrant trifle, with a second fill barbados rum barrel. The tangent acidity from the hue amount of blackcurrant in the base beer is balanced by the sweetness of the Madagascar vanilla. This idea is further developed by the notes of ripe pineapple and molasses from the rum barrel.
