Atomic cake is a staple of Chicagoland desserts, with layers of banana and strawberry sandwiched between white and chocolate cake. “Atomic” is our version of this classic Midwest treat. We started with meadowfoam blossom honey and added mountains of bananas and strawberries to the ferment. We then added some orange blossom honey and a healthy dose of vanilla beans and cacao nibs, which elevated this layered liquid delight to a whole new level.
