We took "Fives A Crowd", our Blueberry, Blackberry, Raspberry, Black Currant, and Elderberry Mead, and aged it in Bourbon Barrels for 14 months.....and my oh my has it changed. This massive fruit combination integrated into a vinous concoction that has been amply kissed with lovely barrel presence leaving a wonderfully complex mead that will hold up to a steak or serve as a liquid dessert replacement.
