Пиво Old IPA - Mills Brewing, Tiley's (The Salutation Inn)

This beer is a collaboration with our neighbour, Tiley's Brewery. Previously we have combined our brewing interests to make a Vatted Porter released in 2018. To follow on from this, we have produced a non-traditional realisation of the pale beers shipped to India in the 18th and 19th centuries. Two different types of hoppy pale beer were blended to form Old IPA. The first, a West Coast-style IPA with Kiwi hops. The second, an approximation of an IPA recipe from 200 years ago, hopped with EKG. Both matured in oak for two years before bottle conditioning for a further 6 months.
