A project seasons in the making. During the colder months, just after Vintage in the Yarra, we laid down to rest a traditional German Pilsner in freshly emptied chardonnay barrels from our friends @puntrdwines. This Pils is 100% fermented, conditioned, and lagered in the barrel – just how beer used to be done in ye olde days. German Pilsner Malt, Czech Saaz, and our house lager yeast combine over a delicate RO water profile. Simple and clean with a prominent bitterness. This is an extremely limited beer best savoured with good one drop tunes and good friends
