Black Currants, Red Currants, Blackberries, Cherries and Blueberry mead. With a 5 month rest in bourbon barrels, this iteration of Amalgamation begins to show off the changes the base mead will see from additional aging. Chocolate, char, vanilla, toffee, and dark fruit flavors that further accentuate the cherries all bring themselves forward while providing a bit of baking spice and tannin that lend additional structure to the finish.
