Мёд Prestige - Wildflower (ASPJEPP1) - Pips Meadery

Prestige is a decadent Wildflower traditional that was aged in an MGP Straight Bourbon Wiskey store pick barrel from Aman’s Beer + Wine. Purchased and warehoused by CH Distillery in Chicago, this barrel came to us while on the hunt for "honey" barrels in their warehouse. We crafted a mead specifically designed to act as a vehicle to pull forward all of the nuances of the spirit while balancing out added heat with honey sweetness. We used a Texas wildflower which has cinnamon notes that paired well with the spice profiles of this particular barrel. Sitting for over a year in the barrel, we pulled forward pleasant notes of vanilla, toffee, tobacco, marshmallow and graham cracker from the oak.
