A unique interpretation of Pumpkin Pie. Rather than loading this mead up with various baker's spices, we opted to accentuate the flavor of the gourd. Simply using Vanilla, Cinnamon and Maple Syrup, the flavor of the squash is still present throughout the sip, while vanilla provides a creamy body, cinnamon lingers to provide the familiar flavor embedded in every bite of pie, and maple syrup creates the illusion of caramelized/baked sugars. Certainly not your stereotypical pumpkin pie profile, but a fun unique twist on the fall classic.
