Part of the Heart of Darkness blend, highly aromatic Crandall currants and Heritage red raspberries create a rich, complex tapestry on the nose and palate, reminiscent of dark stone fruits, a variety of red and black berries, treacle, and autumn meadow. One hundred percent of this fruit is home grown - hand-picked by members of the Schramm family at perfect ripeness throughout the summer and fall, washed, culled and de-stemmed by hand, and fermented in small batches.
