Frozen Fresh Hop West Coast IPA, 16° Plato, 7.1% ABV. Kolektiv farem Yakima Chief Hops z největší pěstitelské oblasti na severovýchodě Spojených států se totiž letos rozhodl nabídnout možnost uvařit si pivo z jejich nevysušených hlávek pivovarům po celém světě – čerstvě sklizený chmel hned po sklizení šokově zmrazil. Takhle zmražený chmel si zachovává čerstvé aroma a chlazeným transportem vyráží do světa. Uvařili jsme z něj šestnáctku West Coast IPA, suchou, čirou a výrazně hořkou. Má jemně měděnou barvu a kombinaci chmelů Citra a Simcoe. This year, the Yakima Chief Hops farm team from the largest growing region in the northwestern United States, decided to offer beer from their undried heads to breweries around the world - freshly harvested hop cones were flash frozen head by head immediately after harvest. Hops frozen in this way retain their fresh aroma and set out into the world in refrigerated transport. We brewed West Coast IPA, dry, clear and very bitter. It has a fine copper color and we used a combination of Citra and Simcoe hops.
