Пиво Oude La Ruche Kriek (10 Year) - Side Project Brewing

What started as La Ruche, our Meadowfoam Honey Saison, Oude La Ruche Kriek began in early 2022 in stainless steel before being racked to Missouri Oak and allowed to referment and mature with our native cultures and the Northwest Meadowfoam Honey addition. At maturity, we racked La Ruche to French Oak Merry Edwards Pinot Noir barrels with Balaton and Montmorency Cherries from Michigan. A third fermentation occurred and these barrels were laid to rest until the beer once again found its stride and was ready to share. After more than a year in oak, our first Oude La Ruche with a fruit addition was ready.
