Пиво Purpetua (Vintage 2020) - de Garde Brewing, Side Project Brewing

Missouri Wild Ale and Oregon Spontaneous beer aged on Oregon Black & Red Raspberries Another de Garde Collaboration! This year, we used an experimental Missouri Wild Ale that we refermented on top of Oregon Black Raspberries. Unlike Fencerow, this beer does not have any Flanders in the base and instead has a thoughtful construction of blonde base beers ranging from Grisette to the Fuzzy Base. The result has a lower perceived acidity which pairs beautifully with the slightly lighter fruit addition. Then, just like previous years, we swapped half of this batch with half of a de Garde beer - 'The Purple' - a Black and Red Raspberry Spontaneous beer (from a base beer which is most closely inspired by a Lambic base) from our friends up in Tillamook. We think that just like Coex Purple and Floue Floue, this half and half blend of Side Project and de Garde turned out great and we look forward to sharing it with you!
