The phenomenon is described as a psychological crisis brought about by events that highlight a person’s growing age, inevitable mortality, and possibly lack of accomplishments in life. So brewing a white stout… Yes, midlife crisis it is. Beer with hints of your cold morning coffee, chocolatebar, fried bacon and vanilla icecream. When you take the first sip with closed eyes, you may think it is a dark beer for sure… It is confusing! Beer made in collaboration with OA Coffee. We used medium roasted Brazilian beans described as following: Brazil, the land of the tropical sun, enthralling samba rhythms and “Yellow Bourbon” – a highly valued Arabica coffee variety, known for its yellow coffee cherries and loved for the irresistibly sweet and nutty flavor. But how does a can of midlife crises taste? Clear deep yellow color with a lasting creamy white head. Aromas of cocoa, vanilla and quality coffee and roosted nuts. Palate medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish and smoky malts in after taste. Flavors of cacao beans and coldbrew coffee, vanilla-led sweetness and a hint of smokiness with a smooth dry lingering cocoa finish, ripe fruits and bit of white chocolate.
