What's an XPA? First of all, it's a short form for Extra Pale Ale. Secondly, it's a light coloured, highly hopped beer that falls somewhere between a Pale Ale and an IPA. We're using the term to define a style of beer that we are hell bent on perfecting - one with a clean and dry body making it super smooth and crushable, but with all the juicy tropical hop flavours and aromas you've grown to love. Old Friends is everything we envisioned. A simpler malt bill of 100% Canadian barley and wheat but then hopped with Citra and Amarillo - the same amounts we would typically do for our big IPAs. It finishes dry and smooth and really accentuates the fresh, bright citrus characteristics we love about these hops. Give it a try, and let us know what you think!
