Old World Bourbon Scotch is a traditional Ale brewed with a complex array of malts and fermented with a classic Scotch Ale yeast, resulting in a delightfully smoky tribute to the eclectic world of Highland Whiskeys. This beer was first placed into Bourbon barrels for 6 months, and after this initial rest we then transferred into fresh Scotch barrels for an additional 2 months. The outcome of this extended aging is one of our most robust offerings to date and an essential addition to any Scotch lover’s shelf. Intense aromas of smoky peat and herbal seagrass give way to layers of dark fruit, nuttiness and sweet malt. It represents a capstone collaboration between our Barrel and Classics programs.
