In February 2015, De Molen Airlines flew their top dog to our brewery on Funen via the German Autobahn. Menno arrived in all his glory, and days of fun and good times were about to happen. And so they did. But hours and hours of trouble with the equipment, the recipe and the ingredients made our days longer and harder than we had hoped for. When the first brew day had passed, we ate and drank like kings, and at some time the words "...nothing but trouble..." were said. They kind of stuck in our minds. The troubles were our own creation. We wanted to brew the strongest and darkest beer ever done at our brewery. We did and a 11 % Imperial Stout ended up being bottled as the first version. Later it came in 6 different versions, aged in their own unique barrel for months.
