Best known for the extensive tunnels he built underneath Welbeck, the 5th Duke of Portland was a vastly efficient and practical designer. During the winter months, water was fed to an arena by the Abbey to create an ice skating rink for staff to use. This beer is brewed using a carefully chosen blend of roasted barleys and malted oats to create a sumptuously smooth, velvety stout this winter.
