Cinnamon Dolce Latte Stout is the latest release in our #coffeeshopstout series, featuring recreations of some of our favorite coffee shop treats. We started with a rich, creamy base Milk Stout, brewed with loads of crystal malts, chocolate malts, and lactose sugar. Then we conditioned the beer on over 2 lbs/bbl of Mama Nelly’s Peruvian coffee from our friends down the street at Zoe’s Cafe, along with Vietnamese cinnamon sticks and just a hint of vanilla. The slight bitterness from the coffee and spice from the cinnamon are balanced by the sweetness of the base beer, resulting in a beer that is a bit more balanced than most of the other beers in the series.
