This is an East Coast IPA straight from Richard O’Brien’s Tropical Zone. The beer is jam packed with juicy fruit flavours with absolutely zero bitterness as is true to style. Dry-hop additions of Mosaic and Vic Secret, as well as a whirlpool addition of Cascade, gives this beer its unmistakeable aroma. Lychee, Mango, Pineapple and Orange notes waft from the glass which follows through to the taste, with additional flavours of grapefruit and vanilla. An oat heavy mash, a lactose addition in the kettle and a low carbonation provides a full bodied mouthfeel and a smooth drinking experience.
