Мёд Florida Loquats - Zymarium

This subtropical fruit mead has notes of citrus, peach, pineapple, and stone fruit! We fermented over 5 pounds per gallon of this local fruit along with a local Orange Blossom honey to produce a melomel that captures our terrior! Loquats, also known as Japanese Plums, are in the Rosaceae family, the same as apples, pears, peaches and nectarines. This mead will not be made commercially, as the fruits came from a generous friend who picked their tree clean during the lock-down.
