Lehua honey comes from the Big Island of Hawaii, isolated from the rest of the world, island varietal honey is exceptionally pure and unique. It is gathered in the cooler north highlands where the Ohia Lehua is often the first tree to grow on new lava flows. The fluffy red blossoms create an incredibly distinct rich and complex flavor of tropical fruits, exotic flowers, and a bit of butterscotch.
