This mead is truly a taste of of the Brazil! The beautifully floral honey comes from the Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest, and the Pitanga, is one of Brazil’s favorite fruits. Its color and shape are absolutely beautiful. The bright reddish-purple fruit stands out in the thick green Amazon forest, with an interesting shape that’s almost like a tiny pumpkin. When you take a bite of one of these gorgeous fruits, the taste is sharp and sweet. (The Pitanga is also known as Surinam Cherry or Brazilian Cherry, but it is not a cherry.)
