Ashover Brewery

We have been brewing beers with malt, hops and passion since 2007 from our little brewery in the old stable block behind the Old Poets' Corner, Ashover. Unlike most breweries, we prefer to source from local suppliers, home growers and farms, plus our own foraging. Founded by Roy Shorrock & Kim Beresford to bring the real ale enthusiasts something exciting in their local, the popularity of the beers quickly grew, as did the range. In 2015, demand was so high that we expanded to an industrial unit in Clay Cross. In 2020 Kim & Roy retired and handed the reins to local entrepreneur and publican David Neale, whose passion for traditional ales is taking the brewery to the next level. Over the years we have won many awards with CAMRA and SIBA.
