Braukollektiv was founded in 2014 by four home brewers from three different countries who miraculously all ended up in Freiburg. In 2014 they brewed Freiburg's first IPA, Dolly. They have continued to introduce new styles of beer to the public as they have striven to be a positive and driving force in Freiburg's growing craft-beer scene. Several of their beers are now contract-brewed at either Brauerei Rogg or Cast Brauerei.
