2022 version with double Bourbon Black IPA with Bourbon and Hemp seed - our take on the Danish Christmas beer style. Our Christmas beer is very fittingly named after Axel Julemand (Santa Claus Axel.) He was a beloved Christiania resident who would not only dress up as Santa Claus for the kids at Christmas but also rock his costume all year long. Marching in front of protest demonstrations and greeting summer tourists with a jolly “Merry Christmas”, bringing the gift of the holiday spirit wherever he went. Axel Julemand is brewed by Christiania Bryghus in collaboration with Ghost Brewing. The amazing artwork is created by Christiania artist Marios Orozco. Cheers.
