We’ve travelled through Europe by exploring different brewing styles and our latest small-batch creation has taken us to Austria. Roads Travelled is an Abzug - historically, an amber, sessionable Vienna style lager. "Abzug" is a German word that roughly translates to "reduced" which is why Abzug Lagers are typically lighter, refreshing, and easy drinking. Made with a blend of heritage Vienna Malts, this beer was brewed with a traditional double decoction mash and layered 5 weeks to give a rounded malty flavour. Bask in aromas and notes of whole grain bread, honey, and a subtle hint of spice from Saaz hops.
