Once a very common style making up 75% of the beer sold in Louisville, Kentucky Commons all but died out following Prohibition. This amber ale has mild caramel and biscuit flavors with a slight sweetness from flaked corn. Uncommon to the style, but common to modern interpretations, we blend in a very small sour addition for a crisp, refreshing finish. Brewed on our 2 barrel pilot system.
