Пиво Norsk Høst 2018 - Nøgne Ø

To brew a beer using Norwegian ingredients only is something we have dreamt about for a long time. We managed to get our hands on hand malted barley from micro malters Maltmons, and raw wheat was already available from our local farmers. We finally went into the local forest to pick pine shoots and myrica gale. The Norwegian farmhouse yeast was supplied from Sigmund Gjernes at Voss. His kveik had been used at his farm for generations.
