Batch: 001 No of bottles: 528 Time in barrels: 26 months Titratable Acidity 13,4 g/L ALC 8,4% VOL. 375 ml This beer started as our annually produced Christmas wheat beer, on its own a great red and malty beer. We inoculated the beer with mixed cultures of Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus and Pediococcus and left it in a freshly emptied red wine oak barrel for a secondary fermentation and maturation. After a long sleep for 26 months the transformation is complete. Enjoy the fruity, spicy and funky aromas followed by flavours of toasted oak, dark fruit and slight vanilla. The finish is dry and tart with balancing tannins.
