So the BierHaus Cork wanted a first pour. The BierHaus Cork got a first pour. Our American style red ‘IPA’ was brewed with our Head Brewers favourite malt combo-Red X and Cara Hell. For the hops, we choose only one; fresh as ya like Colombus Hops in the mash. Hops in the empty kettle. Hops in the full kettle. Hops at flame out. Hops in the whirlpool. Hops with the yeast. Hops after fermentation. Hops before cold crashing. There were alot of hop additions in this beer and every single Columbus addition has added a layer of that stereotypical west coast flavour.
