It's got a solid Noble hop bitterness, but not quite the pronounced hop flavor and aroma you'd find in a pilsner. A sulfur bump in the water build mimics the water profile of Dortmund, this style's point of origin, to accentuate the hop bitterness and give the beer a crisp, dry finish.
