We just couldn’t resist and ended up releasing a sour, but just for the season we made it an imperial. Our new imperial sour ale Memento is full of all of autumn’s fruity and berry notes with a sour edge symbolizing our nostalgia for sweet, summer days. Into the mix we added a lot of juice from ripe, southern cherries and the true berry of the north: cranberries. We upped our game with the aroma of citrus orchards by dry hopping with Citra. The paradox of an Indian summer in one strong, berry-sour ale.
